An affordable place for people to create art and gather together

Our Story
Bozeman has a LOT of artists and creatives, but very few affordable places for people to create art and gather together.
We founded Wheelhouse with the mission of providing an accessible space for people to gather, make art, and build community. Something that's especially important during the growing pains we’re experiencing as one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

Our mISSION
Our mission is to foster creativity, community, and collaboration in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
By providing the tools, resources, and support artists need, we empower people to express themselves and connect with others through art.

Nick started Nebuluxe in early 2024 as a way to express himself. He's long been interested in soft goods - He taught myself to sew in order to repair and create gear for himself and friends. When doing this it became important to him to not only make things that were functional but also beautiful.
Though typically used in quilting he realized that appliqué could be combined with collage to produce detailed artwork. This medium has since fascinated him.
He is inspired by my home in Bozeman Montana, by movement, by the natural world, by literature, and by theory.

The Thread Rose is a warm, welcoming space for every crafter. You might be fed up with how slow progress is coming on your latest knit, holding back the third sob today because your sewing machine won’t stop tangling the upper and bottom thread, or you have no clue where to start with that one craft you’ve been dreaming about… I’ve been there and I am there.
My grandma gifted me my first sewing machine when I was 13, and my crafting journey hasn’t exactly been pedals to the metal ever since. I’ve had big visions become catastrophes and motivation pitter out. But over the last year, I’ve carefully re-curated my love for creating, and I want to help you do the same.
Thread Rose is here to be your resource when you get stuck, your inspiration for when the going gets tough, and your solace for when you need a little bit of space between you and your latest project.
I’m so happy to have you here.
